It is necessary to secure membership of the Institution for appearing in the above examinations.

There are two types of membership

STUDENT GRADE MEMBER Student grade membership is given to those who have secured a pass in 10th Standard with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics or a pass in 10+2 examination (science stream) and who have minimum six months Engineering works experience either as Trainee or Employee. He should have completed 16 years of age.		TECHNICIAN GRADE MEMBER This is given to those who have secured a diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Automobile Engineering or Production Engineering or a pass in T. Engg or equivalent and who are 20 years of age and who have minimum 6 months experience in engineering works as Trainee or Employee.

The Institution conducts bi-annual examination known as Technical Engineering part-I & part-II examination (Diploma Level) in mechanical Engineering, Automobile technician Engineers in Automobile Engineering, Production Technician Engineers Examination in production Engineering, Air-Conditioning & Refrigeration Technician Engineers in Air-Conditioning & Refrigeration.

Please submit membership examination enrollment forms directly to the institution. It is not necessary to send forms through coaching institutes or through any middleman.

Of late many cases have been reported by various candidates wherein they were cheated by Coaching Institutes or persons connected with Coaching institutes or intermediary persons. Cases have come to light wherein students were issued false letters on photocopies of the letter heads of the Institution. There have also been cases of issue of fake provisional certificates and Final pass certificates, using the format of Institution’s certificates with forged signatures of Hon Secretary and Examination Incharge. In the process, the students have lost large sum of money paid by them as per demand of such unscrupulous persons by making false promises and issuing such forged and false certificate.

This is therefore to inform all concerned that students should not believe in false promises made by coaching institutes or person claiming to be influential etc. and they are hereby informed that they should send their forms for membership/ examination enrolment forms etc. along with D.D for full amount of fees payable by them , directly to the Institution’s office. If they have any doubts or they need any clarifications, they should approach the Institution directly and Institution will give them prompt help/ guidance/ information.

IT IS NEITHER NECESSARY NOR REQUIRED NOR MANDATORY TO SUBMIT THE MEMBERSHIP FORM/EXAMINATION ENROLMENT FORM THROUGH COACHING INSTITUTES. INSPITE OF THIS, IF STUDENTS APPROACH COACHING INSTITUTES FOR MATTER CONNECTED WITH THEIR EXAMINATION, THEY WILL DO SO AT THEIR RISKS, CONSEQUENCES AND COSTS, A SITUATION WHICH THEY SHOULD STRICTLY AVOID AND SUBMIT APPLICATION FORMS WITH YOUR PERMANENT RESIDENTIAL ADRESS ONLY.

Candidates can remit Rs. 425/- by Demand Draft (Rs 150/- for Membership form and Rs 275/- syllabus) starting examination passed or either they can download the Membership Form from the website (*Note – Syllabus is not available on website).

The Fees of Rs 425/- paid will get then deducted from the registration Fees of Rs 16,025/- and the remaining fees have to be paid by the student at the time of registration. If they download the form then the full fees of Rs 16,025/- have to be paid at the time of registration.

They should then submit the membership form duly completed along with their attested copies of mark sheet and certificate and the original work experience certificate and also examination form indicating maximum 05 subjects in which they want to appear. They should remit by Demand Draft one time payment the registration fees of Rs 16,025/- which include the examination fees of first semester. The examination fee of Rs 2,100/- has to be paid every semester from 2nd Semester as prescribed in favor of the Institution.

NON MICR Demand Draft, cheque and Money Orders are not accepted.

Those students who are interested should write to the Institution’s office directly for further information and take advantage of this opportunity of becoming the qualified engineers through the examination of this institution which are recognized by Government of India as also several state governments, Union Public Service Commission and public sector undertaking, Defence Establishments and Indian Railways, rather than getting depressed in not being able to secure admission in polytechnic/engineering colleges. They can thus become qualified mechanical engineers through the examination conducted by the Institution.
